MEET MYTHS was a School-Academy initiative of LAB 4 and the Royal Academy of Fine Arts of Spain. New architects (students from UPM ETSAM post-professional course LAB 4) meet Fine Arts Academics sculptor Julio López Hernández, architect Antonio F. Alba, composer Luis de Pablo, painter Rafael Canogar and film director Manuel Gutiérrez Aragón through dialogues that take place in the artists' own creative scenarios.  

MEET MYTHS es una inciativa conjunta de LAB 4 y la Academia de Bellas Artes de San Fernando. Jóvenes arquitectos (alumnos del curso de posgrado LAB 4 – MPAA DPA ETSAM UPM) se encuentran con los académicos Julio López Hernández, escultor, Antonio F. Alba, arquitecto, Luis de Pablo, compositor, Rafael Canogar, pintor, y Manuel Gutiérrez Aragón, director de cine, a través de diálogos que tienen lugar en los propios escenarios creativos de los artistas.

"On October 30, 1938, Frank Lloyd Wright is located in the recently-inaugurated School of Taliesin West (Arizona), working on his latest project: the Jester House. Apparently it's a night like any other; however, since that night the world of Wright will never be the same. This is the beginning of a comedy where viewers go into a hotel room and the characters are pushed to live a world halfway between reality and fiction caused by a machine that wakes up to us every morning, guides us where to go and allows us to love someone without hearing her or his voice."

(Almost) Real, a research on architecture in the whatsapp times / (Almost) Real, una investigación sobre arquitectura en tiempos del whatsapp

On October 8, 2015 "(Almost) Real. Fragments of reality at the time of the whatsapp", a stage play written and directed by Rafael M. Hernández, opens at Hotel Las Letras Gran Via in Madrid. "(Almost) Real" is scheduled as an activity of the Week of Architecture of Madrid and the Opening Lectures Week of the Master in Advanced Architectural Design. It is the first step of a research led by Juan Coll-Barreu. We will post more news. For now, we wish all the luck to Rafael and we encourage you all to attend! 

El próximo 8 de octubre de 2015 se estrena en el Hotel Las Letras Gran Vía de Madrid la obra de teatro "(Almost) Real. Fragmentos de la realidad en tiempos del whatsapp", escrita y dirigida por Rafael M. Hernández. "(Almost) Real" se programa como una actividad de la Semana de la Arquitectura de Madrid y de la Semana Inaugural del Máster en Proyectos Arqutiectónicos Avanzados. Es la primera entrega de una investigación dirigida por Juan Coll-Barreu. Publicaremos más noticias. De momento, deseamos a Rafa toda la suerte del mundo y os animamos a todos a asistir
